For this project I struggled a lot looking for the color set that I had. I also struggled with the photos coming out blurry. I was able to manage it by changing the exposure time. The biggest success that I had was the lighting because of the weather and also I didn't have a lot of trouble taking photos inside.

BIG_small
For this photo, I came up with the idea of using the plant because I had already took a similar photo of the plant in the beginning of the year and just decided to retake the photo with a more advanced camera. I took this photo with the camera set on Aperture Mode while lying down on the floor to capture the plant. A problem that I had while taking this photo was getting the background to be clear (no people in the background). During the photoshop process, I had trouble with quick selecting her body. Overall, it wasn't a difficult process of taking and photoshopping the photo.
For this photo, I was able to come up with the idea of having the phone fall on top of the person because it is an reputation of how technology is affecting us humans a lot these days and pulling us away from nature. I took this photo in front of the 200 building lying down on the ground. Some problems that I had taking photos of the phone was positioning it and taking multiple photos of my partner due to the lighting. I was able to overcome my problems by setting the camera on multiple shots than one shot and by facing in the opposite direction of where we were shooting. What went well during photoshopping was quick selecting her and what didn't go well was merging the two photos of the background and the phone.

Float
I took this photo by having my partner Keana jumping off of a chair while the camera was set at a lowered angle a little. I had Keana jumped multiple times due to the chair being in the way and so I could capture her in mid-air at the right time. Also, to capture her the camera had to be adjusted a little so that I can get her whole body in the picture.
I took this photo while having Keana standing on a chair. Then, I went in and photoshopped the chair out by erasing it so it can look like she is floating in mid-air. I wished I moved her up a little so it would look like she isn't standing on the ground.
This is my random photo. I took this photo while she was sitting on a chair. I did the same thing to get ride of the chair. I then moved her up a little so it looked like she was levitating. I had a hard time taking this photo because of the background so we had to use the same location from the top photo.

Zombie Apocalypse
PERSON
I decided to save my partner Keana Jackson for my person. I chose her because she has many skills and I work very well with her. For example, one of her skills can be her height and I can rely on her if something goes wrong. She's important to me because she's one of my good friends, she makes everything so easy, and she always have food with her. I think this photo represents my skills due to how I got her to smile and while taking she was in the moment of eating.
PLACE
I chose the 400 building as my place to stay at during a Zombie Apocalypse because it's the biggest building that connects to the cafeteria and the JROTC room as well as that the wood shop area is connected to it too. The 400 building is useful due to if I need weapons I can run to JROTC room or to the wood shop area and get the supplies I need. This building is important to me because the cafeteria is right next to it and I can go get food when I really need it. I think this photo represent my skills because of the location I used. However, I just wished that the sky is washed out.
THING
I chose this tree because it represents a coconut tree for me. I would save a coconut tree as my thing because it would be my back up food if I couldn't get to the cafeteria. A coconut tree is useful because when I do run out of food and if the water pipes get destroyed then I can go and pick a coconut to eat and drink. A coconut tree is important to me because it will live forever and it won't run out of coconuts. I think this photo is a good representation of my skills because of the angle I took it at and how the sky made the different colors pop out.
RANDOM
I decided to choose Joyce Eslava as my random for many reasons. I chose her because we would work very well together and because she's fun to be around. Joyce would be useful because she can use the different emotions that she has to distract the zombies. She's important to me because she's one of my good friends that I would want to save. I think this photo represents my skills because of the location I chose to take it at and how I was able to get the right skin tone.
ZOMBIFY
During the process of zombifying myself I created many layers to make myself look more real. I first started with my eyes to get them to look more like I just came back to life by filling them in all white. I then went in and started to add some texture in (with Mr.Pedersen help), for example, pictures of different rust. After, I added some dripping blood effect in to make it look more real. Finally, I decided that I wanted to add something to the background so it wouldn't look to plain. I think my overall effect came out good, I really like how I was able to manage to make myself look like I actually came from the dead. I thought this part was a big struggle for me because I had trouble with adding the texture into my face.

INNER CHILD
POSTER
TOP TWO
This photo is one of my favorites because you are able tell what emotion it is (enraged). Also, I like this photo because the lighting was even and the model was glowing.
This photo was also one of my favorite because of the lighting and of where she was standing. Also, because there was nothing in the background that was distracting.
QUESTIONS and ANSWERS
- Describe your experience working with the model, the lighting, and the camera settings.
- Describe what it was like being the model for your partner. (i.e: Were you uncomfortable? Did they do something to make you feel comfortable or awkward?)
- What do you think are most important things to do when taking pictures of another person?

PANNING
The technical challenges that I had with the camera settings was the brightness being to bright and having to change the shutter speed multiple times to get the picture. I had to change the range to -2 for the brightness and the changing the shutter speed to a very low exposure. The challenges that I had was having to take the photo multiple times because of people interfering and because of the face coming out blurry.
The technical challenges that I had with the camera settings was the shutter speed. I had to change the shutter speed to a higher speed to take the photo. The challenges that I had was having to take the photo multiple times because of the speed and because of the head moving to face.
The technical challenges that I had was the burst. I had to take the camera settings off of burst to take the photo. The challenges that I had was getting one person's face not blurry.
The technical challenges that I had was the shutter speed. I had to set the exposure time at a high timing. The challenges that I had with taking the photo was switching back and forth to one lane to the other lane. The lane that was closer to me didn't work with me because the car was to close to take the photo.
Successful:
I think the most successful thing that I did for this project was taking the photo of the car and setting the shutter speed at the appropriate exposure because I was able to get the object not to be blurry but I got everything around it to be blurry.
